God is your Father

It is impossible, with the limited knowledge that we have, to comprehend God. All we have to go by is what we have learned as animals on the earth. The image we receive from those who have personal dealings with God is sketchy at best. Moses saw Him as a pillar of fire. Lot saw Him as One who could destroy entire civilizations without hand. He has been described many times and in many ways by witnesses. All we know as humans is that He is way too immense for us to understand.
I am a witness to the fact that the Lord God is too big and complicated for us to understand in the flesh.
As grown-ups, we are far too big and complicated for our little children to understand. If you have children then you know that their immediate future is not in their hands. Although a lot of how that future goes depends on what they do, the majority of their immediate future is in someone else’s control. Although what they think is important to them, it is far more important for them what you think as parents. On the other hand, what you think of them has a great deal to do with their comfort and contentment. The children’s will and plans, because they are children, do not influence your will and plans much, but your will and plans had better be considered before they make any plans of their own. If their plans are contrary to your plans, theirs will come to naught.
One thing I remember from well from childhood was when we moved across country. I was 12 and had lived in the same area since I was 3 or 4. I knew everybody on 2 blocks. I knew where I could and couldn’t go. I knew all the other kids at school. All my friends lived there. I was extremely comfortable. I did not want to move. After all my attempts at explaining and my attempts through crying, (even though my father was very strict) I even attempted refusing. None of these ploys even made a dent. My father’s mind was made up and that was it. So I was left with no other option than to talk with my father. I would say didn’t you like our house and friends and stated all the positive things I could think of. Why are we leaving all that for some place we know nothing about? It just didn’t make sense. My father said that there were issues and reasons involved in this move that I was just too young to understand. He said he sympathizes with my position but he could not make his decision based solely on my 12 year old opinion. He said this move was better for the entire family, including me. He said that I didn’t understand right now but I would understand later. He said I was just too young to be able to make it on my own, so I would have to trust him to do what was best for me and I would just have to do what I was told.
Jesus said that whosoever it was that did not come to Him as a child, knowing nothing would in any case enter the Kingdom of God.
In our understanding, as a brute beast, man, we are far less wise in comparison with God, than a newborn is to a grandpa. As soon as we decide that we know enough about God to be wise, we became fools.
The immensity and mystery of God causes us to speculate as to His will and purpose for creating man, the earth, Satan, heaven, angels, and all the complexities of life. This speculation has caused there to be a lot of controversy concerning the image of God. The word of God has been told and retold. It has been corrupted and changed and added to and taken away from until there is a flood of misinformation. There are virtually hundreds of religions who all claim to be wise concerning God. To sort it all out and choose the right way is impossible.
Since God made the world and all things in it, He knows that it is impossible for you to figure out the flood of information flowing around about Him. He knows that there is no way you could even start to sort it out, let alone choose the right thing to do every day.
It would be like dropping your 3 year old off at Harvard and expect them to come home with a degree. You would never expect that of your child. In fact you do not expect your 3 year old to figure out any of the complexities of life. All they are expected to do is obey you.
God is your heavenly Father. He knows that as far as spiritual things are concerned, you are only a baby. Your immediate future is not in your hands. Although a lot of how that future goes depends on what you do, your immediate future is in God’s capable hands. Although what you think is very important to you, it is far more important for you what God thinks. What you think of God has very little effect on His comfort and contentment but what He thinks of you has a GREAT deal to do with your comfort and contentment. Your will and plans have very little effect on God’s plans, but God’s plans had better be considered before you make plans or your plans will come to naught.
God has told us not to get too comfortable here on the earth, because we are fixing to move. No matter how comfortable we have become with our lives, our time here is almost over. This move is better for the entire family of God so He will not change His mind no matter what our insignificant opinions are. We may not understand right now but we will someday. For now, we will just have to trust Him to know what is best for us and do what we are told.
God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, so that we did not have to figure anything out. All we have to do is obey and follow Him. He told us that if we will call on His name in faith and will repent of our sin, He will take care of all the rest. He will send unto you the Holy Spirit and that Spirit will tell you everything that you need to know.
There are no burdens to bear for God or puzzles to figure out. Just trust in the Lord and do what you are told by Him.
Here is the rub. If you have reached full age as a human being and have had your senses exercised by reason of use to be able to know right from wrong, you must choose to make this move. You do not have to choose a church or a ritual or the right prayer or the right person to be your advisor. You only have to examine your own heart and repent of what you personally know to be wrong in the eyes of who you personally feel to be Jesus Christ, the Son of God. You must honestly within yourself desire to have that Jesus that you know take over your life and must honestly desire to serve Him. He will handle it from then on and take you out of this world that God hates.
Most people who even give God or Jesus a thought nowadays have not prepared themselves to receive Him. They have only prepared an excuse why they have not tried.
Most people who read the Bible are looking to see if they can find in it a loophole or excuse they can use in court as a reason why they have disregarded the commandments of God and Jesus.
They love the world that God hates and they do not plan to move from it until they are forced by death. They believe there is a God but they do not fear or respect Him. They are only afraid of the consequences of their own actions, in case they have disregarded the commandments of God and Jesus.
Because they are too busy trying to heap to themselves the pleasures of this world, to adequately prepare their own defense, they hire “lawyers” of the Bible to prepare their cases for them. If these “lawyers” or preachers are good at their job and can convince the masses that they can get time off then these “lawyers” have a huge clientele. The clientele then has the added bonus of “safety in numbers”. They feel God would never condemn that many people who have given Him enough regards to meet with their “lawyers” once or twice a week and give them a share of their profits in His name. If God has a problem with these people’s actions, He will now have to take it up with their “lawyers” who have convinced their clients of being able to get them acquitted on the Day of Judgment.
Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. The Day of Judgment is at hand. Rest assured God will take it up with these “lawyers” or preachers. He will add to their tribulation and torment according to the inequity of their clients and of their own sin as well. They will be sorry for lying to you. He will greatly add to their torment.
However this will in no way lesson yours. God will still take your own inequities up with you personally.
God made the world and all things in it. Therefore you will not have to give account for the circumstances of your life. You only give account (or do time) for what you personally have done or said or thought. This is according to your personal knowledge of God and your own failure to keep His commandments that you personally know.
The only advocate that will do you any good at this time is Jesus Christ. The only way He will take your case is if you will put your entire future from that moment on in His capable hands. Jesus will teach you how to please God and when the time comes to give account for your past sins He will stand up for you. God will not let you off for your past sin but will forget that you ever committed them. He will consider you as a righteous soul and will reward you greatly.
The only time left for accepting Jesus Christ as your advocate is now. There is no time left to figure out if this is the right thing to do. You will just have to trust in Jesus that He will do what He says and surrender the entire case of your life to His care by faith.
I am a witness to the fact that Jesus Christ will do what He says. I am also a witness to the fact that He is the only one who can. All the rest are liars and there is nothing that any of them, including myself, can do for you otherwise.
The Kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

May the love, peace, and joy that come with obedience to Jesus Christ be in you all. I will look forward to seeing all of you who choose to be obedient to Christ at the great wedding feast of the marriage of the only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ.
